Neath Port Talbot is celebrating the achievements of young people who completed their Bronze, Silver, or Gold Duke of Edinburgh’s (DofE) Awards. Participants took on challenging routes across Margam Park, the Gower Peninsula, and Bannau Brycheiniog (Brecon Beacons), developing teamwork, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Last year, Neath Port Talbot’s young people contributed over 11,000 volunteering hours, generating more than £71,000 in social value for the community.
Between April 2024 and March 2025, an impressive 367 young people in Neath Port Talbot achieved their Duke of Edinburgh’s Award—a testament to their determination and the strength of local support for the programme.
